Mayo Saanen Milking Goats

Picture
We were fortunate to acquire sound milking goats in the 1980's for our own supply of milk and we have since developed these original lines into a stable herd of milkers through the use of Stud Saanen sires. Recent sires include unregistered bucks from Cranley Park, Clifton, through Peggy Jessen. One of these Saanen sires also introduced some British Alpine genes into our herd. For our private use, our best Saanens provide an average of 5L, once a day while raising their own offspring. Superfluous milk is fed to our working dogs.
