The sire of Mayo E37, Mayo Z5, earned his stripes the hard way. After doing time in our Brangus herd, Mayo Z5 was put on feed to be moved on. His reaction to "a good feed" was spectacular, to the point that Z5 was used with our Stud Red Angus cows. Recent tests have shown that Z5 has at least maintained existing carcass trait standards in our herd. Our D and E females are by Mayo Z5.
